'University submissions' and 'School - based Training' are designed to complement each other and to develop your excellent practice as a teacher. All aimed to provide you with the essential skills needed for an early career teacher.
The schools that employ our graduates in their first posts tell us that the PGCE equips beginning teachers with the essential tools that they need to join the teaching profession, make a positive impact in the classroom, and to get careers off to a very good start.
We are confident that the training offered through our Partnership is truly excellent and that we recruit graduates with real potential. As well as getting glowing feedback from our students last year, 100% of them were graded as Outstanding or Good in overall teaching judgments by the end of programme and 100 were employed in teaching posts or registered on further study by September 2018.
